HARRY KENISTON DIES AT AGE 74; RITES HELD HERE

Funeral services for Harry Keniston, 74, former Hawarden resident who died Wednesday in a Sioux City Hospital, were held at 2 o’clock Friday at the Barnard Funeral Home.

Reverend William Sebring officiated with burial in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Barnard Funeral Home.

Prior to being cared for at the Elaine Nursing Home in Sioux City, Mr. Keniston was employed by the International Harvester Company.

Mr. Keniston was born November 7, 1887, in Hawarden to Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. and Hester May Keniston, pioneer residents of this community. They owned and resided in the house now converted into an apartment house and owned by Mrs. Katherine Dowdey.

There are no survivors.
