Translated reads – Mrs. Wm. Lammers died in the hospital in Sioux City where she had surgery but died suddenly just a day before her birthday. The funeral was Thursday at the 2nd Chr. Reformed Church in Sioux Center. Her husband was overwhelmed by her death.

(She was born 30 May 1866 in the Netherlands and was married 5 Feb 1892 to Jan Willem Lammers. Her parents were Gerrit Nykamp and Jennechen Lennink.)
