Mrs. Dondelinger passed away at the home of her son-in-law, Mike Gaspar, on Wednesday at the age of ninety-one years. The remains were taken to LeMars for interment this Friday. A complete obituary will appear in next week's Democrat.

Mrs. Emma Dondelinger died at the home of her son-in-law, Mike Gaspar, about four and one-half miles east of Alton on Tuesday September 2nd 1913 of old age, following a sickness of only four days. Deceased was born on Nov. 12th 1821 at Krach Germany and she had therefore almost reached the age of 92 years when she passed away. In 1850 deceased came to America, settling in St. Donatus Iowa. Thirty-one years ago she came to LeMars. She made her home there with her son Charles D. until his death and then, six years ago, came to Alton and made her home with the Mike Gaspar family. Mrs. Dondelinger was the mother of six children, one of whom, John of Neptune Iowa, survives. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The funeral services were held on Friday Sept. 15th from St. Joseph's Catholic church of LeMars. The services were conducted by Father Fuerstein. Interment was made in St. Joseph's cemetery at LeMars. Mrs. Josephine Dondelinger of Minneapolis, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Leo Reding and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Reding of St. Mary Kansas and Mr. and Mrs. Math Hoffmann of Hospers attended the funeral.
