W.H. Faber died at his home here on Monday morning after suffering for some months with cancer. Deceased was born in the Netherlands fifty-seven years ago and was there united in marriage. Six children were born to them, two of whom still reside in the Netherlands. The rest of the family came to this country last spring and have since made this their home. Week before last Mr. Faber was taken to LeMars for an operation but upon examination it was decided the patient was too weak for this ordeal and he was brought home last Saturday. Besides the widow and children, deceased is survived by a sister, Mrs. Langhout of this place; also two brothers, Frank of Doon and Peter of Bigelow Minnesota, both of whom were here to attend the funeral which was held here on Wednesday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. Timmermann.
