Nic Groenheide died at a Sioux City hospital on Saturday last after an operation for enlarged spleen. Mr. Groenheide was 28 years of age and his only relative in this country is Mrs. H. Hulst Sr., an aunt. Mr. Groenheide came here from Edgmont, N.D., less than two weeks ago to be treated for his trouble. Mr. Reinders went to Sioux City Saturday to prepare the body for transportation. The remains arrived in Hospers on Monday and were taken to the Hulst home. The funeral services were held on Wednesday from the Presbyterian church. Rev. De Groot was in charge of the services. Dick Hulst came from Edgmont, N.D., to attend the funeral. Deceased had been employed on the Dick Hulst farm at Edgmont.
