From the Rock Valley Bee, December 18, 1925:

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brink mourn the death of their infant son who passed away the following day. The remains were taken to the Valley View cemetery Friday for burial.

His death certificate has Infant of Wm. & Minnie Brink; born Dec. 8, 1925 in Rock Valley; parents Wm. Brink and Minnie Pietens, both born in Iowa; died in Rock Valley Dec. 9, 1925, cause “don’t know”; buried in Rock Valley Cemetery, Dec. 11, 1925.
