Mrs. Flora Wessels

Mrs. Flora Wessels, 109 Third Ave. SW. LeMars, died unexpectedly Tuesday (April 15. 1975) at her, home. She was 72.

Flora Jochum was born Aug. 9. 1902 at St. Henry. Indiana to William and Caroline Buening Jochum. She had resided in Le Mars since 1968.

She was married to William Ganter on Jan. 1923. at Louisville. Ken. He died on Jan. 1967, Her marriage to Mr. Wessels took place June 24.1968.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St, James Catholic church in LeMars with Rev. George McFadden officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery. Louisville, Ken. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Luken-Johnson funeral home.

Survivors are her husband. Herman Wessels; Le Mars; a daughter. Mrs. Arthur (Juanita) Wigley. Louisville. Ken.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren: five brothers. Hugo Jochum. Alton; Hubert Jochum, Sergeant Bluff; Edmund Jochum. LeMars: Raymond and Linus Jochum. Huntingburg. Ind.; two sisters. Mrs. Anthony (Dorthea) Beyke, Jasper. Indiana. and Mrs. Caroline Moore. Evansville. Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter and a sister and a brother.
