From the Sioux County Index (Hull), November 27, 1925:

MRS. VOENINGA DIES

Mrs. Sam Veninga, residing north west of Hull a few miles, died last Saturday following the birth of a fine big baby boy. She was a woman in the prime of life and the death is a severe blow to the family, she leaving besides her husband and the new baby, four other young children.

The funeral was held Tuesday from the home and from the Christian Reformed church at this place, Rev. Monsma, of Doon conducting the funeral. She was laid to rest in Hope Cemetery. The Index joins in extending sincere sympathy to the bereaved husband and children
