OLLIE KASKIE, 67, DIES SUNDAY P.M. AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Funeral services for Ollie Kaskie, 57, a lifelong resident of the same farm west of Rock Valley, who died Sunday night at the residence after a log illness was at 10 A.M. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church here. Reverend R.W. Rienhart officiated. Burial was in the St. Mary’s Cemetery. The rosary was recited at 8 P.M. Tuesday at the Porter Funeral Home.

Ollie Kaskie, the son of Michael and Mary (Churske) Kaskie. He married Anna Goeken on February 24, 1925 and together they had six children: Albert Kaskie of Steilacoom, Washington, Paul Kaskie of Rock Valley, Francis Kaskie of Hawarden, Mathew (Davis) Kaskie of Columbus, Georgia and Rose Ann Bowyer of Chicago.

Survivors also include a brother, Henry of Rock Valley; three sisters: Miss Teresa Kaskie of Rock Valley, Mrs. Joe Langan of Aurora, South Dakota and Mrs. Lucille Friesen of Newark, New Jersey and 23 grandchildren.
