After a week's illness with pneumonia, Mrs. B. Graanstra passed away at her home here last Saturday night. Deceased was born in Groningen Netherlands seventy-four years ago and was married there to B. Graanstra. In 1892 the family came to this country and have always lived in this locality. Besides the husband, deceased is survived by her children: Mrs. F. De Jong of Carnes, Mrs. Nyenhuis of Hull, Berend Graanstra of Hospers, and Mrs. O. De Vries, Mrs. M. Van Peursem, Mrs. M. De Jong, and Cornelius Graanstra of this place. The funeral was held on Tuesday, services being conducted by Rev. Timmermann at the home and in the Christian Reformed church.
