Funeral services were held Saturday morning, March 20, from St. Anthony’s Church for Mrs. Katherine Jungers who died at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. William Jungers, at Hospers.

Mrs. Jungers, nee Goschey, daughter of the late Mary (Wiesler) Goschey and Peter Goschey was born June 16th, 1882 at Fredonia, Wisconsin. In January 1902 she was married to Peter R. Jungers and has resided in and near Hospers ever since.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband who passed away in 1911. She leaves two sons, William Jungers, of Hosper, Nick Jungers of Wisconsin, three daughters, Mrs. Nick (Frances) Lanser of Wisconsin, Mrs. Bill (Lena) Biever of Wisconsin and Mrs. Clarence (Viola) Schemmel of Remsen, twenty-eight grandchildren, also two sisters, Mrs. Mary Stoll of Hospers, and Mrs. Nick Thill of Random Lake, Wisconsin, five brothers, Nick Goschey of Fonda, Peter, John, Joe and Dominick Goschey all of Wisconsin.

Pallbearers were Fred Fischer, Syl Haag, Henry Stapenhorst, Lawrence Auchstetter, Frank Robinet, and Leo Reuter.

Burial took place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery beside her husband.
