LOSE THEIR ONLY CHILD

Mr. and Mrs. William H. Johnson of Dunn Center, North Dakota who have been here for several weeks visiting at the home of his father, Abraham Johnson were called upon last Thursday to mourn the death of their only daughter, Velma Lorene, aged two years, seven months and twenty-eight days. Whooping cough complicated with pneumonia, was the cause of her death. She was sick three weeks.

Velma was a child of a cheerful, loving and contented disposition and won friends for herself wherever she went. The parents and other close relatives are in sorrow, yet not hopeless grief, at the sudden removal of this cheery sunbeam from their life.

The funeral was held at the Abraham Johnson home Saturday afternoon, the services being conducted by Eld. W.A. Kibben of Sioux City. Interment was made in Grace Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Sarah Teeple, mother of Mrs. William H. Johnson, came to attend the funeral of her little granddaughter.

The sympathy of the community goes out to the sorrowing parents and other relatives.
