SERVICES TO BE HELD FRIDAY FOR HENRY O. JOHNSON

Funeral services for Henry O. Johnson, 85, who died Tuesday afternoon at the Hawarden Hospital, will be held at 2 P.M. Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Ireton. Reverend Paul Friedrich will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with the Satterlee Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Johnson was born in Germany on September 16, 1877 and came to Ireton at the age of 13 with his parents. He was married to Hattie Daniels on May 29, 1907.

Survivors include two sons, Edward of Farmhamville, Iowa and Donald of Ireton; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Dimmick and Mrs. Fred Brunsting of Hawarden; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
