Mrs. William Jiskoot Dies, Funeral At Alton Wednesday

Mrs. William A. Jiskoot died Sunday, November 5th at the home of her son William where she had lived since the death of her husband four years ago.

Wilhelmina Klein was born June 17, 1868 in the Netherlands. She came to the United States at the age of 16 and the family settled at Alton.

She was married December 11, 1889 to William A. Jiskoot. Two sons were born to the union, Peter and William, who survive their mother; also five grandsons, one granddaughter and three great- grandchildren; two brothers, Henry W. Klein of Alton and Alex (Sam) Klein of Hospers.

Several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

At the time of her passing, Mrs. Jiskoot was 82 years, four months and 19 days of age.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:00 at the son's home and a t 1:30 in the Alton Reformed Church. Reverend H. Hesselink officiating. Burial was in Nassau Township Cemetery.

Mrs. Jiskoot was a devoted mother, a kind neighbor and friend, a faithful member of the local Reformed Church.
