Funeral services were last Saturday at the Community Reformed Church for Mrs. Agnes Jellema, 78, of Sioux Falls who died Thursday at a nursing home.

Agnes De Jong was born July 14, 1895, near Orange City. She was married to John Jellema February 22, 1918, in Orange City.

The couple lived in Chicago for several years and then returned to Orange City where they lived until 1947 when they moved to Sioux Falls. Mr. Jellema died May 30, 1948.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Bernard De Haan, Mrs. Odilo Kaschmitter and Mrs. Glenn Becker, all of Sioux Falls, and Mrs. William Jacomet, Wessington Springs; five sons, Onno, Alton; Thomas and Orion, both of Sioux Falls; John, Chicago; and Donald, Brandon; three brothers, Thomas De Jong, Platte; Gerben De Jong. Hull; and Edward De Jong. Hull; a sister, Mrs. John G. Reinders, Orange City; 36 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Interment was in the West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City.
