Mike Jansen died at his home in Boyden Thursday morning, October 3rd. Mr. Jansen was ill for several weeks.

He has made Boyden his home for many years and first lived on a farm south of town and later years in town.

Mr. Jansen is survived by his widow, Etta (Van Meevern) Jansen; two sons and three daughters, they being, Will of Boyden, John of Orange City, Mrs. John May of Spirit Lake, Mrs. Ernest Sharp of Spirit Lake and Miss Bertha at home.

Funeral services were held Saturday in the Reformed Church. The entire community sympathizes with the bereaved family.
