Johanna was born to Henrick and Hendricka (Nijland) Rensink somewhere on the Atlantic Ocean.

Mrs. William Jacobs died at her home two miles west of town Friday night at the age of about thirty -five. Her trouble was an abscess in the side.

Funeral services were conducted Monday by Reverend Van Houten of Boyden and interment took place at Newkirk. She leaves a husband and one child.
