Frost, Clarissa ‘Clara’ born 23 Dec 1840 died 7 Jun 1907 wife of Wm. H. buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery Ireton IA.

Note: No obit was found , however in the Alton Democrat papers of September the probate notices were listed as W. H. Frost executor.

The 1900 census of Plato, Township Sioux County IA lists Clara E. Frost born Dec 1840 in New York, husband William H. Frost born March 1951 in Wisconsin, one son, Elton H. Frost born Jul 1879 in Iowa was living with them.

In a report on ancestry.com (by others) Clarissa ‘Clara’ H. Ellen Saxton was born 23 Dec 1840 New York died 7 Jun 1907 Sioux County IA, daughter of Thomas C. Saxton 1798 and Charlotte Newcomb 1802. She was married 13 Nov 1872 Beloit Rock WI to William Henry Frost born 14 Mar 1851 Cold Spring Jefferson, WI died 10 Oct 1940 Los Angeles, CA. They had one son Elton Harold Frost 1879 -1958.
