Death came suddenly Friday Nov 18 to Emil Frantzen, age 40 years, after an illness of several months. He was born in Hospers to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Frantzen. He mother passed away when he was only a small boy, his father and one brother Leo also preceded him in death. He married Miss Mary Klein on Nov 27, 1945. Surviving besides the widow are a brother, Henry and two sisters, Mrs. George Graff and Mrs. Wallace Leonard, also his aunt Sophia Frantzen, who reared the five Frantzen children. Emil Frantzen served in the last war and later was employed as a mechanic at Verschoor’s garage. Military funeral services were held Monday morning at 9’clock form St. Anthony’s church Rev. J. Thoenisssen officiating, burial was in St. Anthony’s cemetery.

Note: His wife Mary Josephine Klein born 1913 married a second time to Roger Theodore Stremlau 1915-2002 . She died 6 Dec 1994 Rockford Illinois. Quite sure she was buried there also.
