Lane Gerritson
Lane Gerritson, 67, Rock Valley, died Thursday at his home of an apparent heart attack. Services were held December 31 at the Pioneer United Methodist Church with The Rev. David Waterman officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery under the direction of the Porter funeral Home.

Lane Gerritson was born October 15, 1912, at Rock Valley. He married Margaret Kastine February 10, 1933, at Rock Valley. He was self-employed and worked as custodian for the Methodist Church in later years.

Survivors include the widow; three sons, Arthur of Rock Valley, Ben and Leonard, both of Sioux City; two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Betty) Kraayenbrink of Sioux Center and Mrs. Douglas (Helen) Reinke of Sioux City; three brothers, Richard of Rock Valley, Audie in California, and Gerbie of Beloit; two sisters, Mrs. John Shaff of Sioux Falls and Mrs. Peter Kruizenga of Washington State, and 14 grandchildren
