Tena Huizenga, 81, of Orange City died Wednesday, December 4, at her residence.

Services were at 11 A.M. Saturday, December 7, in the First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. The Reverend John T. Ehbers and the Reverend Henry Vander Kam officiated. Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery. Family visitation was held at the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City. Mrs. Huizenga, the former Tena Kuik, was born June 2, 1904, in The Netherlands. She came to the United States and to Orange City at the age of 4. She married Steve Huizenga September 13, 1921, at Orange City. She was employed part time at several different occupations. He died January 8, 1958, at Orange City.

Mrs. Huizenga was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church and Thy Kingdom Come Society of the Church. She also was a member of Ladies Zangkoor.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Etta) Gunnick of Fremont, Nebraska; a son, Elmer of Orange City; two sisters, Mrs. Tillie Berkenpas of Lynden, Washington, and Mrs. Uko (Rita) Mejeur of Kalarnazoo, Michigan; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
