Died: December 30, 1918John Hospers passed away in Orange City, Iowa, at the age of 59, and was buried at West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City, Iowa.
John Hospers was born on February 12, 1859, in Overijssel, Netherlands, the son of Johannes and Gerritdina (Abbink) Hospers. In 1887 he was united in marriage to Effie Marra. Four children were born to them, all of whom survive her. The children are Miss Dora Hospers, John Hospers of Hull, Mrs. J. Van Klompenburg Jr., of Le Mars and Mrs. Harry Mouw of Alton.
