Emma Veree Cowman Horn passed away at Boyden, Sioux County, Iowa.

Emma Cowman was the daughter of James Cowman and Sarah Brown Cowman, born July 10, 1871.

She was united in marriage to George Prentice Horn on February 6, 1889 and settled on the farm south of Boyden where they lived until they moved to town in 1932 except for four years which was spent in Prairie City, Iowa, 1901-1905.

She leaves to mourn her husband, George; six children, Merle, Mrs. Jake Den Hartog of Sheldon; Lottie, Mrs. John Haspels of Boyden; Eunice, Mrs. Fred Reimers of Boyden; Willard Horn of Boyden; Herbert Horn of Boyden; and Esther, Mrs. Henry Slykhuis of Ashton. One son, Gilman, passed away at the age of eight months, July 17, 1912.

They were members of the United Presbyterian Church and she was laid to rest at Sheridan Township Cemetery, Boyden, Sioux County, Iowa.
