Fiihr, Floyd born 9 Sep 1899 died 18 Sep 1988 wife Frieda Heitritter, he is buried in Greenwood Cemetery at Matlock IA as listed in the Sioux County IA cemetery index. He died in Sheldon IA, couldn’t find an obit in the local papers.

Frieda Fiihr, 80, of Sheldon, died May 19 at a hospital in Sheldon.

Services were Monday at the United Methodist Church in Sheldon. Reverend Rick Dee officiated.
Mrs. Fiihr, the former Frieda Heitritter, was born May 28, 1907 in Boyden. She married Floyd Fiihr December 17, 1923 in Julesburg, Colorado. They lived in Boyden and Sheldon areas all their married lives and had lived in Sheldon since 1943. She was a sales clerk at Hollanders and White House in Sheldon for 15 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Northwest Iowa Health Center Auxiliary and was a Village Northwest Unlimited volunteer.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Beverly Brainard of Omaha, Mrs. Maxine Conkey of Sheldon, Mrs. Gene (Sally) Stewart of Marengo and Mrs. Donna Alberts of New London, Minnesota; a son, Richard of Iowa City; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
