INSTANTLY KILLED BY FALLING POLE
John D. Fassett, 58 years old, was killed last Saturday afternoon on the Dames Ellerbroek farm near Matlock. While assisting in moving a corn elevator, a pole used to support the elevator, fell striking him across the neck causing almost instant death. He was single and was employed on the Ellerbroek farm. A sister Mrs. J. Tutje, lives at Matlock. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at Matlock.
