Faber, Atje Postma born 13 Oct 1871 Nijega, Friesland Neth. died 7 May 1932 Hull IA, buried in the Hope cemetery at Hull IA as listed in the Sioux County IA cemetery index. She was Mrs. Auke C. Faber 1870-1944.

Note: No readable obit was found papers because it was carried in the May 13 paper but it was too light and fuzzy to read the microfilm. Including her husband’s obit for further family information.

From a family report on ancestry.com (done by others) she was the daughter of Pieter Weiberens Postma 1836 and Grietje Oedses de Vries 1840-1895

Suffered Stroke Last Wednesday and Was Buried Wednesday, October 18 - Aged 73 years
Mr. Auke Faber of Hull suffered a paralytic stroke last Wednesday afternoon and passed away at his home here in Hull Sunday morning, October 15th.
Mr. Faber would have been 74 years old October 20. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Anna (Groen)Faber. There were six children – two by a former marriage to Altje (Postma) Faber; Cornie Faber of Michigan and Mrs. L.H. Verhulst of Sioux Center – and August, Allen, Wanda and Bobby at home; and four grandchildren. One brother, Simon Faber of Michigan and three sisters, Mrs. Driessen, Mrs. De Ruyter and Mrs. Middeling, all of Rock Valley, also survive.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the home and from the Christian Reformed Church in Hull, Reverend J. Hanenburg officiating. Interment was in Hope Cemetery. The sympathy of a host of friends is extended to the bereaved family.
