Evans, Edward born 7 Jan 1854 Canada died 7 May 1931 Sheldon IA, age 77 yrs 4 mo. Buried in Greenwood cemetery at Matlock IA as listed in the Sioux County IA cemetery index. Since he died in Sheldon an obituary was not found in the Sioux County papers. His estate matters were in the papers May through July.

Note: Edward was 25 yrs living in Grant Township with wife Margaret age 18, in 1880. His wife was Margaret Jane Ewing 1861-1891, according to an ancestry.com report they had children Thomas 1883-1883, Alfred J. 1887, Edward Spurgeon 1889, and Paul Ewing Evans 1889-1983.
