Eppink, Jan ‘John’ Father born 12 Nov 1840 died 6 Sep 1915, buried in Memory Gardens Sioux Center IA.

His death is noted in the Sioux Center Nieuwsblad of Spetember 8, 1915
A rough translation of the Dutch article:
Monday morning Mr. Jan Epping died at LeMars, The funeral with be Thursday at 1 o’clock at the home and 2 o’clock at the First Ref church with Rev James De Pree.

Mr. J. Eppink was 76 years old and one of the old settlers of Sioux County. He came from Dinxperloo Neth and first settled at Alton WI. Then he came to Orange City and then to Sioux Center. He is survived by his wife and two children, John Eppink and Mrs. Toon Doornink. Five grandchildren.

Note: From an ancestry.com report (done by others) his wife was Hendrika Te Grootenhuis 1840- 1925 Three children were noted born to them John W. 1877, Johanna 1878 and Engelina 1880.
