Gerben Keiser passed away at his home in this city last Monday at the age of sixty years. Deceased had been a sufferer from diabetes for the past five years. He was born in Friesland, Netherlands, and was united in marriage there to Alyda Calsbeek in 1878. Ten years later the family came to this country and has lived in this vicinity most of the time since then. Deceased is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Schut of North Yakima, Wash., Cornelius Keiser of Twin Falls Idaho, Peter Keiser and Mrs. Giebink of Alton, Mrs. Rensink of Newkirk, John Keiser of Carnes, and Gerben, Wesley, Bert and Miss Alyda of this place. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, services being conducted in the First Reformed church by Rev. Vis.
