MRS. ALEX STUDER GONE
Death Claims Iowa Pioneer

Relatives and friends of Mrs. Alex Studer were greatly shocked Friday afternoon when they learned of her sudden death. Mrs. Marie Studer was born in Pleasant Valley Twp., Fayette Co., Iowa on Feb. 5, 1869 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Graff. There she lived until 16 years old when she went west. On Sept. 21st 1904 she was united in marriage to Alex Studer in Anthony Kans. where they lived for two years and for 14 years in Oklahoma then moving to Rock Valley. To this union were born two daughters, Clara Marie and Amelia Emma, who with their father mourn the death of their wife and mother. She also leaves two sisters and two brothers, a sister and brother in the state of Kansas and the other sister and brother in Oklahoma.

She was a good wife and mother who loved her home and loved ones. She was of a mild disposition. She leaves many friends and relatives. She died on Friday Nov. 30, 1923 in her home at Rock Valley from heart paralysis after reaching the age of 58 years, 9 months and 25 days. Funeral services were held by Rev. Dachsteiner at the Lutheran church in Plato Twp. Monday at 2 o'clock.
