Steven Kemp Hoefakker, 13 months, son of Mr. and Mrs. Teunis Hoefakker, rural Rock Valley, died January 14 in a Sioux Falls, South Dakota Hospital of a brief illness.

Services were held at 10:30 A.M. January 16 in Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley.

Survivors include the parents; a brother. Thomas Wayne at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William L. Rozeboom of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Henry Hoefakker of Rock Valley.
