Eason, John died fall of 1871 buried in the Eason Family Burial plot Sherman township in the SE corner of Sec 36, as listed in the WPA cemetery index. No newspapers are in existence from 1871 to find a death notice.

His parents were James Eason 1816-1902 and Mary Roberts 1816-1889. Wife Elizabeth Mercy Mercer 1844 – 1933. Children George Eason 1867-1872 and Elizabeth Eason 1868-1941. They were married 16 Dec 1865 in Kent England.
