From the Rock Valley Bee, March 9, 1923:

The remains of the little 8-year-old son, Charley, of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Osborn, who died from pneumonia at Glenwood, Iowa, where he was in the hospital, arrived in Rock Valley Saturday and were taken to Valley View Cemetery for burial and short funeral services, which were conducted by W. I. Murphy.

From the Alton Democrat, March 10, 1923, Rock Valley news:

The eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Osborn, which was at the state institution for the feeble minded at Glenwood, died of pneumonia and was brought here last Saturday for burial. Funeral services were held at the family residence Tuesday afternoon which was well attended considering the inclement weather, after which the unfortunate child was laid to rest in Valley View cemetery. The parents have the sympathy of their friends.
