Younie, Lewis died 6 May 1892 age 78 buried in Grace Hill cemetery Hawarden IA. (A WPA record no stone).

Lewis Younie, a respected farmer of Eagle township, died last Friday morning from lung trouble, aged 79 years. He was injured several years ago and it settled on his lungs, since which he has been an invalid more or less most of time. The funeral services took place from the Methodist church in this city Sunday afternoon.—Hawarden Independent.

He was the son of Lewis Younie 1783-1852 and Jean Stuart 1790-1826. They had a large family.
