R.V. Resident Dies at Age 56

Ed Wyffels, 56, of Rock Valley died Tuesday, December 22 at Hegg Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Funeral services were held Thursday. December 24, 10:00 a.m. In St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard E. Zenk officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery under the direction of Potter Funeral Home.
Mr. Wyffels was born an Nov. 22, 1914, in Rock Valley. He farmed in the Rock Valley area with his brother.
Survivors are one brother, John; five sisters, Miss Margaret Wyffels of Rock Valley, Mrs. Theodore Ranschan of Sioux Center, Miss Loretta Wyffels and Mrs. Charles Walcott of Sioux City and Miss Helen Wyffels of Rock Valley.
