Services Saturday at Sheldon For
Mrs. Calsbeek, 24

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Franklin Calsbeek, 24, Saturday at the First Reformed church of Sheldon. Rev Albert Van Dyke and Rev. C.. Buisseh, officiated.
Mrs Calsbeek died unexpectedly July 8, at South Holland, I11., where the
Calsbeeks have been living.

Services were conducted at the Bethany Christian Reformed church,
South Holland, Ill, July 10. Luella Faye Vlieger was born November 23, 1933,
to Mr .and Mrs. Tom Vlieger of Sheldon. Her early years were spent in the Sheldon area where she attended rural schools. Later she moved with her
family to the Newkirk vicinity until the family returned to Sheldon in 1950.
She graduated from the Sheldon High school In 1951. She attended Northwestern Junior college, graduating in 1953. The following year she taught in the
Sioux Falls school system.

She was united in marriage to Franklin Calsbeek July 7, 1954.
June 29, 1958, just nine days prior to her sudden death, her daughter, Leslie Joan, was born to them.

Left to mourn along with her husband and infant daughter are her parents, two sisters, and two brothers, (Helen), Mrs Martin
Vlaming of Sutherland, Lester of Sheldon, Marvin of Hospers and Margene) Mrs Ralph C. Reeder of Oakland, Calif.

Mrs .Calsbeek was a member of the Cottage Grove Christian Reformed church of South Holland, Ill. She was active in church affairs and was serving as president of the Sarah Circle and as a committee member of the Church's Mission Board at the time of her death.

Pallbearers were Harold Van Otterloo, Tim Kooima, Marvin Groeneweg, Raymond Breed, Henry De Haan and Leroy Hansen.

Burial was in East Lawn cemetery at Sheldon.
