RITES THURSDAY AT GRANVILLE ST. JOE FOR MARY HAUPERT

Miss Mary Haupert, 57, died after a prolonged illness, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Ray Portz of Granville, Monday, December 19.

Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Church, Granville, Thursday morning at 10:00 A.M. and wake at the parish hall Wednesday evening.

Miss Haupert was born on the family farm south of Granville, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matt Haupert. Since the death of her parents she has resided with her sister, Mrs. Ray Portz. Her many friends regret her early passing and extending sympathy to the family.

Surviving are three brothers, Nick of Granville, Jake of Alton and Lawrence of Pipestone, Minnesota; and six sisters:-- Mrs. Margaret Gasper of Rock Valley, Mrs. Chris Portz of Sheldon, Mrs. William Stalhnan and Mrs. Ben Stallman of Kansas City; Mrs. Ray Portz and Mrs. Frank Spieler of Granville.

Note: Her parents were Mathias and Mary Ann (Hemmen) Haupert.
