Brinks, Jan Father born 1831 died 1921 buried West Lawn cemetery Orange City IA, as listed in the Sioux County IA cemetery Index. (WPA record) No head stone. No obit was readily found in the local papers.

Note: On acestry.com a report (done by others) lists John H. Brinks born 16 Mar 1830 Emmen Netherlands died 1921 Orange City, Sioux Iowa married 29 Jul 1881 Orange City IA, wife Willemina Pennings 1850-1911. His parents Hendrik Roelofs Brinks 1793 and Roelfien Gerrits Wilting 1797.

Willemina Pennings’ first marriage was to Jan Willem TerHorst They had three children. Born to John H. Brinks and Willemina Pennings were- Gerritje, Rhoda, Johanna and Henry Brinks.
