Obit notice in Dutch Mr. P. Veenstra/Feenstra and wife died three days later after having lung fever…. Peter’s second wife was a Mrs. Herrema found in the 1900 census. He had a son about 12-13 years of age. Funeral held in the C. G. church in Orange City. He had seven children including the step son.

Peter’s first wife was Grietje Postma. He was born Pieter Feenstra about 1842 in Achlum Frieland to Dirk Wisses Feenstra and Soerdje Pieter Robijn. He was married Jun 1 1867 to Grietje Jogchums Postma at Leeuwarden Friesland Netherlands.
