Bebout, Roy died 16 Mar 1882 child of E & S. E. on same headstone at Grace buried in St. Pauls Lutheran cemetery Lincoln Tsp. Hull IA. No obits were found for the 3-4 children who died in the mid 1880s.

NOT sure if these are the same child.

The 1880 census for Sheridan Tsp. Sioux County lists Eli Beebow age 35 born 1845 Missouri wife was Sarah Beebow born abt 1850 in Missouri . The 1885 Iowa state census lists Eli Bebont 35 born Ohio living in Sheridan Tsp Sioux County with wife Sarah Bebout age 33 born WI and children Willie 8, Della 2 and Hattie 0.

Note: A family report on ancestry.com (done by others) lists Elisha Eli Bebout born 7 Aug 1849 Akron OH died 17 Nov 1925 Sullivan Co. MO. his first wife was Nancy Meyers they had one son William born 1877. His second wife was Sarah Emma Torrey 1851-1918. The ‘living’ children were William 1877, Della 1882, Hattie Louise 1885-1971, Ruth Belle 1887-1973 and Lloyd O. 1896.
