It is our sad duty to chronicle that Mr. and Mrs. Oordt have lost a son, Johnny, by that dreaded sickness, diphtheria. Last Tuesday he was taken seriously ill and Thursday night was buried by the neighbors. A few years ago another son, Johnny, was taken away with a similar disease. Their other children have also a touch of it, but medical aid seems to check it.
At this writing they are somewhat better.
