The 7-month-old baby girl of Dr. and Mrs. G.H. Mammen met death in a peculiar manner. While the mother was adjusting the pillows in the baby cab a hot water bag placed in the perambulator to keep the child warm, bursted, and the baby's limbs scalded. The child died forty-eight hours later from the burns and nervous shock----Sioux City Journal.
