Mrs. Wm. Brink, Orange City passes Away at 79 years of Age.
Mrs. Wm. Brink, nee Dena Pennings, died at Orange City last week Wed. She was a pioneer resident of Sioux County and with her husband a charter member of the Dutch Reformed church of Maurice. Some years ago they moved to Orange City where she continued her active interest in church affairs.

The funeral was held in the First Ref. church of Orange city, Revs. Coenbrander and Stronks officiating. The interment was at the Maurice cemetery.

She is survived by her aged husband Wm. Brink, three sons; Gerrit and Henry Brink of Orange City and Rev. John Brink of Boyden and one daughter Mrs. Minnie Den Ouden.

Berendina Pennings was botn 28 Jan 1857 Dale Aalten, Gelderland, Netherlands died 9 Dec 1935 Orange City IA. Her parents were Gerrit Jan Pennings 1822-1893 and Gerritjen Pennings 1830-1866. Hendrik Willem Brink and Berendina Pennings were married 23 Nov 1877 Sioux County IA. Their children were Wilmina 1879, Gerrit William 1880, Hendrik 1882 and Rev. John 1885.
