Mrs. Pieter H. Haarsma, who had been ill six months, passed away in the night of April 11, at the age of 71 years.

Deceased was born at St Jacobi Parochie, Netherlands.

In 1873 Dirkje Bouma married Mr. Pieter Haarsma, who survives her. In the spring of 1893 the family came to the U.S.A. and lived ever since at Orange City.

Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her six children, who are all married: Henry and Mrs. P.(Maartje) Jeltema, of Maurice; Mrs. K.(Baukje) De Groot and Mrs. J. (Clara) De Groot, of Orange City; Mrs. H.(Dora) Heemstra, of Monroe, South Dakota, and Dirk, near Maurice.

During the last weeks of her sickness she suffered much from an attack of apoplexy, which was followed by her death.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon in the Christian Reformed church by Reverend Haan.
