Zahnen, Peter born 1845 died 1920 is buried in St. Anthony’s cemetery Hospers IA as listed in the Sioux County cemetery index. No obit was readily found in the local papers.

Note: From a family history on ancestry.com, done by others, Peter Zahnen was born May 1854 Luxembourg, he married Sophia Anna Christiany 1860-1924. Children were Peter 1883, John 1886, Victoria 1887, Nicholas 1889, Joseph 1892, Sophia 1895 and Frank 1898. They lived in Caledonia Tsp., O’Brien County IA and later in Sioux City.
