Dries Zwart, Another early resident of this community died Friday morning at the hone of his sister Mrs. H. Wissink, where he was a patient for the past four months. His mother, Mrs. R. Zwart, age 84, cared, for her son with untiring vigilance during all his illness. His is the first death, in the family, which now numbers nine children.

He was born at Oakland Mich, 59 years ago, and came to Sioux county when a young man. For some years past he was employed at the stock yards.in Sioux City. He is survived by his wife and two adopted children, his mother, and the following brothers and sisters, of whom he was the third oldest; Henry Zwart of Maurice; Gerrit Zwart, Greenlealton, Minn.; Mrs. .Dick Juffer, Sioux Center; Mrs. Gt Sebutt, Yakima WA., Mrs. John De Weerd of Sioux Center, Ralph Zwart, Rock Rapids ; Mrs. H. Wissink, Sioux Center Mrs. Nick Klomp, . Greenleafton, Minn, Mrs. Jno. Lockhorst, Sioux Center

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the H. Wissink home .and at Central Reformed church, with interment in the local cemetery.

He was married to Zulina Seleene Anderson 1878-1975. His parents were Rutger ‘Ralph’ Zwart and Wilhelmina Klomp 1845-1933. They were married 10 June 1912 Woodbury Co. IA.
