Winnie Haak, 88, of Sioux Center died Friday at the Sioux Center Hospital.

Services were held Saturday at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Chapel in Sioux Center with the Reverend Duane Tinklenberg officiating. Services were also held Monday at the Hull North Dakota Christian Reformed Church with the Reverend Gilbert Van Beek and the Reverend Baker officiating. Burial will be in Hull Cemetery in Hull, North Dakota.

Mrs. Haak, the former Winnie Hollaar, was born September 15, 1899 at Hull, North Dakota. She married Gerrit Haak on July 2, 1919 at Hull. They farmed for 33 years in the Hull, North Dakota area and in 1952 retired in the Strasburg, North Dakota area. Mr. Haak died December 14, 1971. She moved to Sioux Center in 1974.

She was a member of the Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dal (Betty) Droog of Orange City; two grandsons, Roger Droog and Randy Droog, both of Orange City; three granddaughters, Mrs. Lyle (Linda) Klein of Sioux Center, Mrs. Delmar (Gwen) Groen of Mesa, Arizona and Mrs. Rick (Becky) De Groot of Orange City; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerrit Hollaar of Litchfield, Minnesota and Marvin Hollaar of Hull, North Dakota; three sisters, Mrs. Peter (Lena) Droog of Strasberg, North Dakota and Mrs. Dick (Cora) Int Veldt and Hester Hollaar of Sioux Center and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Hannes (Rena) Vander Voorste of Bismark, North Dakota and Ada (Hollaar) Compaan of Artesia, California.
