Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Bussanmus were held at St. Joseph's church on Monday morning at 9 o'clock. She passed away at her home Saturday morning, Aug. 30, after a weeks illness suffering a stroke on Aug. 23.

Barbara Domnissee was born January 28, 1862 in New York, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Dominisse, later moving to St. Mary’s, Iowa. She was married to Henry Bussanmus October 17, 1881 in St. Mary's Iowa, later moving to this vicinity. She was a resident here for 60 years. After residing on a farm near here for many years, the couple retired and moved to Granville, 17 years ago.

To this union were born eight children, namely Minnie at home, Frank and Harry of Granville, Louis. of Omaha. Nebr.. Lawrence of Granville, and Loretta, who died in infancy and Ray who died on Sept. 7. 1945. Mr. Bussanmus died in 1935.

Surviving besides the children are one brother Frank Domnissee of Portland, Ore., several brothers and sisters, and 12 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Joe Bachmann, Joe Reim, Nick Didier. Ben Diers. Mike Perlot. And Frank Holies. Burial was made in the family plot in St. Joseph's cemetery, under the direction of the Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen.

Relatives attending from a distance were, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bussanmus and children of Mitchell. S. D., Mr. and Mrs. Lou Bussanmus. of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Grady, Florence and Betty Lou, of Sioux City, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Barr of Sioux City, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller, of Sioux Falls.
