Burington, Jane (Mrs. Samuel ) born 25 Jan 1838 St. Giles England, died 2 Jan 1883 buried in Sheridan Township cemetery Boyden IA. She was married to Samuel L. Burington born 4 Oct 1832 New York, died 13 Dec 1904 Sedalia MO buried in Sheridan Township Cemetery Boyden IA. No obituary was found in the local papers.

She was the mother of five children – Edwin, Ida, Lourie, Frederick, and May. The family was living in Sheridan Tsp in the 1880 census S. L. was 49 wife Jane 41, Edward 15, Ida 13, Lourie 11, Frederick 5 and May 4 . From the birth of son Frederick in South Dakota came the mother’s name Jane Rush. She was the daughter of James Patrick Rush 1804 and Dorcas Barnett 1806-1882
