L. A. Burgers a farmer living seven miles west of Sioux Center collapsed suddenly Monday morning while about his farm chores his death resulting instantly. He was 53 years of age and for several years resided on the M. Borgman farm. The obit was not spotted in the Sioux Center News for Mar 25 or Apr 4.

Note: The family was found on ancestry.com with the following information. Lukas Antonie Burgers born 31 Aug 1886 Arnhem Gelderland Neth. died 25 Mar 1935, Sioux Center IA buried Lebanon Cemetery Lebanon IA. He was the son of Arend Jan Burgers 1840-1924 and Jantjen van den Berg 1838-1881. He was married to Judith van Doorn 1880-1954. Children were Ernest, Gertrude, Jennie, Hans and one more not listed.
